- The rod is built around a composite blank, so anglers looking for a different blank feel may want to compare it against other ice rod constructions.
- The premium 3A hand-selected cork handle offers a traditional grip, but cork can be a preference-driven choice for anglers who favor other handle styles.
- The high-visibility tip is useful for bite detection, though it may be less subtle for anglers who prefer a lower-profile rod presentation.
- The long stem and tangle-free stripper guide add practical function, but they also reflect a more feature-focused design rather than a stripped-down minimalist build.
