Considerations & Trade-offs
- Battery life is a major strength, but the removable rechargeable system means you’ll want to manage and rotate batteries for longer outings.
- The 2-16x optical range with up to 8x digital zoom offers flexibility, but higher magnification settings can narrow the view and make target acquisition more deliberate.
- It includes 10 selectable reticles and 4 color options, which adds versatility, but that also means more setup choices to sort through before heading out.
- The unit’s recording, WiFi, and display features add capability, but they also make the scope more feature-dense than a simpler thermal optic.
