Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 28-inch barrels and raised 9mm vent rib favor a more deliberate sight picture, which may feel different from a traditional side-by-side barrel view.
- Flush mobile-style chokes (SK, IC, LM, MOD, IMOD) offer flexibility, but they also mean choke selection needs to be matched to the intended use.
- The 14 1/2-inch length of pull and listed stock dimensions are fixed fit points, so shooters should confirm the dimensions suit their build before buying.
- Tastefully engraved receivers and upgraded High Select wood add refinement, but they also place this model more toward presentation and fit than a purely utilitarian field finish.
