Considerations & Trade-offs
- 12 gauge, 3" chambering, and an over/under configuration make this a specialized shotgun rather than a do-everything option for every hunter or range use case.
- The 28" barrel and 10mm rib may be a better fit for hunters who prefer a longer sighting plane, but they can feel less compact than shorter-barreled options in tight cover or for transport.
- The included fixed choke setup of modified and improved modified offers a defined patterning setup, so users who want more choke flexibility will need to consider that limitation.
- The RT Max 7 camo stock is purpose-built for waterfowl use, but the overall look and configuration are more task-specific than a general-purpose field gun.
