Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 2.5-20x magnification range is versatile, but higher zoom settings can narrow the field of view and make close-in scanning less efficient.
- The 384x288 sensor and 12m / 18mK NETD specifications indicate a compact thermal package, but they are not a substitute for larger-format thermal systems in every use case.
- Built-in 64GB storage and Wi-Fi cover recording and sharing needs, but users who prefer removable memory cards will need to work within the internal-storage workflow.
- The replaceable 18650 battery and up to 7-hour runtime support extended outings, but long nights may still call for spare batteries or USB-C charging access.
