Considerations & Trade-offs
- The titanium gold-plated finish and walnut furniture make this a more display-oriented Thompson than a plain utility rifle, so the premium look is part of the value proposition.
- It ships with both a 50-round drum magazine and a 20-round stick magazine, but the larger drum adds size and weight to handling and storage compared with the stick magazine.
- The pinned front blade and open adjustable rear sight are straightforward, but they reflect a classic setup rather than a modern sighting system.
- The included protective hard case is useful for transport and storage, though the overall package is still substantial and best suited to buyers comfortable with a full-size Thompson platform.
