Considerations & Trade-offs
- The rifle ships with a 20-round stick magazine, not the drum magazine shown in the image, so the included setup is different from the visual presentation.
- It is chambered in .45 ACP, which gives it a distinct role and ammunition requirement compared with other common long-gun chamberings.
- The 16.5" finned barrel and semi-automatic configuration reflect a reproduction of the classic Thompson pattern, so buyers should expect a historically styled platform rather than a lightweight modern carbine.
- The stock is walnut and the receiver is machined from solid steel, which supports the traditional build but may be less suited to hunters looking for a compact, minimalist firearm.
