Overview
Built for hunters and outdoorsmen who want a compact folding knife with a more aggressive cutting profile, this model pairs a curved scimitar blade with a secure, contoured handle for controlled use. The partially serrated edge is suited to tougher cutting tasks, while the black Cerakote finish and black G10 handle give it a purposeful, field-ready look. Benchmade’s AXIS lock and split arrow pocket clip support practical everyday carry. It is a specialized design, so buyers looking for a more traditional all-purpose folder may prefer a different profile.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 3.45" scimitar blade shape is specialized, so it may feel less versatile for general-purpose cutting than a more traditional profile.
- The partially serrated edge is useful for tough material, but it adds a trade-off if you prefer a fully plain edge for simpler sharpening and slicing tasks.
- The black G10 handle with aggressive texturing and detailed milling is designed for a secure grip, but that texture may feel more assertive in pocket carry than smoother handle designs.
- At a $350.00 retail price, this is a premium knife, so it makes the most sense for buyers who want the Bedlam’s specific design and materials rather than a basic EDC option.
