The Beretta 92XI SAO Gara is a modern single-action-only competition pistol released in late 2024 as part of the Davidson's exclusive Speed Series alongside its sibling, the Corsa. Inspired by high-performance Italian race cars, it evolved from Beretta's long lineage of 92 platform updates, integrating race-ready features like a single-port compensator, an X-treme S flat-faced trigger, and a Vertec-style frame.From DA/SA to SAO: Builds upon the transition of the classic double-action/single-action Beretta 92 architecture into a dedicated Single Action Only (SAO) format featuring a frame-mounted manual safety akin to an M1911.Vertec Integration: Utilizes the straight-backed Vertec aluminum frame with aggressive front and backstrap checkering for a superior, high-hand grip profile.Speed Series Upgrades: Incorporates factory additions from the Toni System, including a single-port compensator, a flared magwell, and +4 aluminum magazine base pads.
