Overview
Built as a classic slow-falling stick bait, this 5-inch option is designed for anglers who want a subtle presentation with added scent dispersion. Its ribbed texture is intended to create more surface area and kick up debris, while the lifelike action and realistic feel are meant to encourage fish to hold on. It is also designed to pair with Half Head and Ned-style jigheads, making it a practical choice for finesse setups when a controlled fall and scent-driven profile matter.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 5" stick-bait profile is built around a classic, slow-falling presentation, so it may not suit situations that call for a more aggressive or highly active bait style.
- Its ribbed texture is designed to increase scent and flavor dispersion, which is useful, but it also means the bait’s appeal is tied closely to scent-based presentation rather than visual realism alone.
- The description notes it is designed to pair with Half Head and Ned style jigheads, so it is more specialized than a truly universal soft-plastic option.
- Berkley describes the bait as durable and long lasting, but as with any soft plastic, repeated bites and use will still eventually wear it down.
