Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed for live or dead bait setups, so it is not a general-purpose rig for every presentation style.
- The 42" fluorocarbon leader and 30-lb. leader rating may be more specialized than anglers want for lighter inshore applications.
- The 5/0 black nickel circle hook is sized for this bait-rig setup, which means it may not suit smaller bait presentations.
- At $13.99, it is a purpose-built rig rather than a do-it-yourself component kit, so there is less room to customize the setup.
