Considerations & Trade-offs
- Compact size and 21.6 oz weight make it easy to carry, but the trade-off is a smaller support platform than full-size field rests.
- Deployed height ranges from 7" to 11", so it is suited to low-to-moderate shooting positions rather than taller setups.
- It is described as quick to set up, but tripod-style support still requires a stable stance and a little time to position correctly.
- Built from heavy duty cast aluminum and polymers, which keeps it practical for the field, though it is not a substitute for a more substantial bench rest.
