Overview
Built for anglers who want a slender minnow-style jerkbait that can be worked with a twitch-pause cadence or pulled at a steady pace, this shallow model is aimed at bass, walleyes, salmon, and lake trout. Its action is described as lifelike when trolled or retrieved consistently, while sharper rod movement makes it dart off to the side like a distressed baitfish. The 4 1/2-inch, 1/2-ounce profile and Gold Chrome Orange White finish give it a compact presentation suited to shallow-water casting and trolling applications.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Shallow-running design limits it to the stated depth range, so it is not intended for deeper water presentations.
- The action described here depends on cadence; a steady retrieve and a twitch-twitch-pause retrieve produce different results, so it may require some adjustment on the water.
- At 4 1/2 inches and 1/2 ounce, it is a specialized jerkbait rather than a general-purpose lure for every situation.
- The listed 3x #4 hooks are part of the factory setup, so anglers who prefer different hook sizes or styles would need to make changes.
Suggested Comparisons
