Overview
Built for anglers who want a shallow-running jerkbait with a versatile presentation, this slender minnow-style lure is suited to twitching for bass as well as trolling or casting for walleyes, salmon, and lake trout. It can be worked at a steady retrieve for a more natural swimming action, or fished with a twitch-twitch-pause cadence to trigger a side-to-side darting motion. The 4 1/2-inch, 1/2-ounce profile and Silver Flash Black Back finish give it a classic baitfish look, while the listed dive range of about 3 feet on the crank and 10 feet while trolling helps define where it fits in the water column.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Its shallow-running design is limited to the stated dive range, so it is not intended for deeper water presentations.
- The lure is tuned around a twitch-twitch-pause retrieve; anglers relying on a steady retrieve alone may not get the same action.
- At 4.5 inches and 1/2 ounce, it is a specific profile for baitfish-style presentations rather than a general-purpose lure.
- The listed 3x #4 hooks may be appropriate for the lure size, but they also make the setup more specialized than a bare-body bait.
Suggested Comparisons
