Overview
Built for anglers who want a slender minnow-style bait with a versatile retrieve, this shallow jerkbait is suited to twitching for bass as well as trolling or casting for larger walleyes, salmon, and lake trout. Its action changes with cadence: a steady retrieve produces a lifelike swim, while a twitch-twitch-pause presentation makes it dart off to the side like a distressed baitfish. The 4 1/2-inch, 1/2-ounce profile and Silver Flash Orange Belly finish give it a compact, visible presentation without adding unnecessary bulk. It’s a practical choice when you want one bait that can cover both controlled casting work and trolling applications.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Designed as a shallow jerkbait, so it is not intended for deeper presentations; the listed dive depth is about 3 ft on the crank and 10 ft when trolled.
- At 4 1/2 inches and 1/2 ounce, it is a compact minnow-style bait, which may limit its appeal if you want a larger profile.
- Its action is presentation-dependent: the bait is described as working with a constant retrieve or a twitch-twitch-pause cadence, so it may require a more active retrieve than a simple steady reel-in.
- The silver flash/orange belly finish is a specific color choice, which is useful for visibility but gives you less flexibility if you prefer a more subdued look.
