The Browning BAR is the ultimate sporting autoloader. Released in 1967, the BAR sporting version is certainly a distinct and separate rifle from the military BAR M1918, but its design results from the understanding and expertise that started with John M. Browning. His grandson, Bruce Browning, was the driving force behind today's BAR. His vision, plus an experienced team of experts at the FN factory in Belgium, brought this innovative rifle to market.
