Considerations & Trade-offs
- No reticle is included, so this is built for observation and ranging rather than aiming through a marked sight picture.
- The 1x-4x zoom is digital, which gives flexibility for closer inspection but is not the same as optical magnification.
- Stadiametric ranging provides an estimate rather than a measured distance, so it should be treated as a guide.
- At 17.1 oz., it is not ultra-light for extended handheld use, which may matter on long nights in the field.
