Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 4-16x magnification range is versatile, but it is still a larger-format scope that may be more than needed for hunters who stay at close ranges or prefer a simpler setup.
- The 50 mm objective can support low-light use, but it also adds size and may require appropriate mounting clearance on some rifles.
- This model uses a 1 in. main tube, so it offers a more traditional profile rather than the added adjustment range some shooters look for in larger tube scopes.
- The rear focal plane design keeps the reticle size consistent, but holdover references will not scale with magnification the way they do on first focal plane optics.
