Considerations & Trade-offs
- Standard velocity and 1070 fps make this a more controlled rimfire load than higher-speed .22 LR options, so it may not suit shooters looking for maximum velocity.
- The 40-grain lead round nose bullet is a straightforward general-purpose design, but it does not provide the specialized terminal characteristics of more purpose-built hunting bullets.
- This is a 50-round box, which is practical for range use and sighting-in, but it is a modest quantity if you plan to burn through ammunition quickly.
- As a .22 LR load, it is best matched to small game hunting and casual shooting rather than larger-game applications.
