CHIAPPA FIREARMS 1886

Overview

This Chiappa Firearms model 1886 lever action is chambered in the heavy hitting .45-70 US GOV. It is in Excellent condition and shows only one minor blemish of the furniture (Shown in pictures) where the finish has been worn. Over all this rifle is outstanding, the octagon barrel makes this feel stout in the hand but is very well balanced. The action is silky smooth, and cycles fantastically. The blueing on the barrel is dark and even. The receiver is color case hardened, making this a very unique piece to have on the shelf.
