Overview

The "Old Reliable" 1874 Sharps was the buffalo hunter's sporting rifle used on the frontier by the likes of William "Buffalo Bill" Cody and Bat Masterson! It was widely used with great and devastating effect on the seemingly endless herds of buffalo by the frontiersman of the era. This version of the 1874 Sharps is a recreation of the rifle used by Matthew Quigley played by Tom Selleck in the movie "Quigley Down Under". It features a color case hardened receiver, hammer, lever, buttplate and 1859 patch box.
