MMG Banshee MkG Features The CMMG Banshee MkG is chambered in .45 ACP and built on a billet 6061 T6 aluminum upper receiver and forged 7075 T6 MkG lower with a 5-inch 4140CM steel barrel finished in Salt Bath Nitride and a 1:16 twist rate. The CMMG ZEROED ambidextrous charging handle mil-spec single stage trigger ZEROED pistol grip and .578x28 threaded muzzle with ZEROED linear compensator complete the Banshee MkG s control and muzzle device package. At 4.9 lbs across a 21.2-inch overall length the Banshee MkG delivers a compact .45 ACP SBR configuration without sacrificing ergonomics or shootability. The Radial Delayed Blowback system addresses the operational limitations of traditional straight blowback pistol caliber AR designs by delaying the rearward bolt carrier movement until chamber pressure drops to a safe level producing softer felt recoil and enabling a lighter bolt carrier and buffer system. Introduced on the original .45 ACP MkG platform in 2017 RDB technology has since been adopted across the CMMG Banshee lineup as the operating system of choice for pistol caliber carbine and SBR configurations. The EML4 M-LOK handguard provides attachment points across multiple positions for accessories and optics on the full-length Picatinny top rail. CMMG engineered the Banshee MkG specifically around the .45 ACP cartridge and the MkG lower platform which is purpose-built for the larger .45 ACP form factor rather than adapted from a 9mm receiver group.
