Overview
Introduced in 1957, the Colt Frontier Scout was a scaled-down, single-action .22 LR revolver created to compete with the Ruger Single-Six and capitalize on the 1950s TV Western craze. It was widely popular due to its affordable price ($49.50 at launch) and "duo-tone" look, with over 350,000 produced until its end in 1970.
