Overview
Built for anglers who want a dependable levelwind reel with line counting capability, this model is suited to controlled presentations and measured retrieves in both saltwater and freshwater settings. Its aluminum frame and sideplate, along with the machined aluminum spool, give it a solid, purpose-built feel, while Ultimate Tournament Carbon Drag is included for smooth drag performance. The 6.1:1 gear ratio and 35 inches of line per crank offer a balanced retrieve that favors both control and efficiency. At 18.9 ounces, it is a substantial reel, so it fits best when durability and steady handling matter more than a lightweight setup.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 6.1:1 gear ratio and 35 inches of line per crank suggest a balanced retrieve rather than a specialized slow-trolling or high-speed setup.
- At 18.9 oz, this reel is not a lightweight option, so anglers prioritizing minimal tackle weight may want to factor that into their setup.
- Line capacity is substantial, but it is still worth matching the reel to your target line class and fishing style to avoid over- or under-spooling.
- The levelwind and line counter features add convenience and control, but they also make this a more specialized reel than a simpler conventional model.
