DPMS DP-15 Shortacle Features The Shortacle is equipped with a 10.5 inch chrome moly vanadium barrel finished in nitride and cut with a 1 in 7 inch twist supporting reliable performance with modern 5.56 loads. A low-profile gas block paired with a carbine-length gas system helps ensure consistent cycling while the A2-style muzzle device uses a 1/2 inch by 28 thread pattern. The M4 barrel extension and full-auto profile bolt carrier contribute to durability and compatibility. Built on forged 7075-T6 receivers this pistol uses an M4 slickside upper and a 10.5 inch lightweight M-Lok handguard for accessory flexibility without unnecessary bulk. The Carpenter 158 steel bolt mil-spec fire control group and 7075-T6 aluminum buffer tube provide proven AR reliability.
