The DWM Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891, also known as the Argentine Mauser, is a bolt-action rifle designed and manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) (DWM) and Ludwig Loewe, primarily for the Argentine Army. It's a notable example of an early smokeless powder rifle, utilizing the 7.65x53mm Mauser cartridge. The 1891 Mauser features a straight bolt handle and an adjustable rear sight, while the carbine version has a turned-down bolt handle and a shorter barrel.
