Considerations & Trade-offs
- Right-hand retrieve only, so it may not suit left-handed anglers or those who prefer a different retrieve orientation.
- The reel is built around a level wind design, which adds line management consistency but also means it is purpose-built for trolling use rather than a more general-purpose setup.
- Line capacity is specified for 15 lb./390 yd. and 20 lb./286 yd., so anglers should confirm those capacities match their target line and application before pairing it with a rod.
- The oversized rubber knob is designed for comfort, but the reel’s overall feature set is straightforward rather than heavily adjustable or feature-rich.
