Faxon Duty Barrel AR9 8.5 Features This barrel utilizes a button rifled design for reliable accuracy and a consistent bore finish. The Pistol Caliber Taper profile helps reduce weight without sacrificing structural integrity making it ideal for compact AR9 pistol builds. It does not require a gas system as it operates on a straight blowback action which simplifies the upper assembly and increases reliability. Both the internal and external surfaces of the barrel are QPQ nitride treated for corrosion resistance and extended longevity. The muzzle is threaded in 1/2-28 TPI allowing easy attachment of muzzle devices or suppressors. Finished with an 11-degree target crown this barrel maximizes accuracy potential while maintaining a clean and durable muzzle face.
