Considerations & Trade-offs
- This is 3" 12-gauge steel waterfowl ammunition, so it’s intended for compatible shotguns and loads rather than general-purpose use.
- The 1 1/4 oz payload and 2 shot size make it a specialized hunting load, which may not suit smaller game or situations calling for different shot characteristics.
- At 1450 fps, it’s a high-velocity option, but that also means recoil and pattern behavior should be considered with your specific shotgun and choke setup.
- Each box contains 25 rounds, so larger-volume outings or pattern testing may require multiple boxes.
