The Frommer Stop is a Hungarian semi-automatic pistol designed by Rudolf Frommer and mass-produced by FEG (Fegyver- es Gepgyar). Adopted in 1912 as the Pisztoly 12M, it served as the primary sidearm for the Hungarian armed forces through World War I and World War II. The name "Stop" was a marketing term intended to signify its capability to "stop" an opponent.
