Considerations & Trade-offs
- The handheld’s 3.5" touchscreen is designed for quick menu access, but a touchscreen can be less straightforward than physical controls when conditions are wet, cold, or when you’re wearing gloves.
- Battery life is listed up to 55 hours, which is substantial for field use, but actual runtime will depend on how the device is used and how often tracking and training functions are active.
- The unit is water-resistant with an IPX7 rating, which adds protection in the field, but it is not the same as being fully waterproof for every situation.
- This is a bundled tracking and training setup, so it offers broad capability, but buyers who only need basic tracking may be paying for features they won’t use.
