Manufactured in Austria, the Gen 5 introduced several refinements to the long-running Glock design, including improved internal components, a flared magazine well, ambidextrous slide-stop levers, and a grip frame without the finger grooves found on earlier generations. Its full-size dimensions provide excellent control, practical accuracy, and generous capacity for duty use, home defense, training, or range shooting. This later-style Gen 5 example also features front and rear slide serrations for easier manipulation from either end of the slide.The revised frame does not have the half-moon relief cut at the front of the magazine well, giving the grip a smoother profile than some earlier Gen 5 examples. Factory-style controls keep operation simple and familiar, while the Glock Marksman Barrel and full-length sight radius support consistent shooting performance. The textured polymer frame offers secure handling without forcing the shooter into a finger-grooved grip position. Included is one OEM 17-round Gen 5 magazine with the distinctive orange follower for easier visual identification. This listing includes the Glock 17 Gen 5 pistol and one 17-round magazine only.
