Overview
Built for hunters who want a straightforward ranging tool in a compact, pack-friendly format, this model combines 700-yard ranging capability with 6x magnification and premium glass optics for clear viewing. Angle Intelligence technology calculates true horizontal distance, which is useful when ranging uphill or downhill shots, while scan mode lets you move across multiple targets at different yardages. Auto acquisition is designed to provide an exact range quickly, and the water-resistant housing adds practical protection for field use. It keeps the XR line’s modern feel without adding unnecessary complexity.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 700-yard range may be limiting for hunters who regularly need longer-distance ranging.
- 6x magnification is practical for general use, but it is not a substitute for higher magnification in more demanding glassing situations.
- Angle Intelligence is designed to calculate true horizontal distance, so users should account for its intended use on angled terrain rather than expecting a simple line-of-sight reading.
- Water-resistant housing adds useful protection, but it is not the same as a fully waterproof rating.
