This round provides exceptional ammunition performance in suppressed and unsuppressed short-barreled rifles. You get virtually no flash or residue, dramatically reduced sound signature, no fouling or overheating of suppressors and uniform velocity and accuracy. It provides controllable rate of fire in automatic platforms and is designed to meet the requirements of the FBI protocol. NOTE: While the 5.56x45mm NATO round will fit in a .223 Remington chamber, 5.56 NATO is a military round that runs at higher pressures, and is not recommended for use in .223 Remington chambers.
