Overview
Hornady’s Superformance line is built for hunters who want a .25-06 Remington load centered on the 117-grain SST bullet and packaged in a 20-round box. It is presented as a high-velocity option for use in a wide range of firearms, with the brand stating it can deliver up to 200 fps more speed than many conventional loads. Hornady also notes that this performance is intended without increasing felt recoil, muzzle blast, fouling, or reducing accuracy. For hunters looking to keep their ammunition choice straightforward and purpose-driven, this load fits a field-ready role without adding unnecessary complexity.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- 20-round packaging may require more frequent restocking for hunters who prefer larger-volume ammunition purchases.
- This load is specific to .25-06 Remington and 117 grain SST, so it is intended for rifles chambered for that cartridge and load profile.
- The product description emphasizes higher velocity, but it does not provide additional load details such as bullet construction specifics beyond SST or any application-specific guidance.
- Performance claims are broad and promotional; verify suitability for your rifle and intended use before relying on the stated speed advantage.
