Overview
Hornady’s Superformance loading is built for hunters who want a .308 Winchester option suited to field use with 165-grain SST bullets and 20 rounds per box. It is presented as a higher-velocity load, with Hornady stating it can run up to 200 FPS faster than most conventional ammunition while avoiding increases in felt recoil, muzzle blast, fouling, or loss of accuracy. That makes it a practical choice for hunters looking for a performance-focused factory load without changing the familiar handling of their rifle.

- The product description emphasizes higher velocity, but it does not provide load-specific ballistic data here, so exact performance details should be verified before use.
- No information is provided about case type, primer details, or other load components, which may matter for shooters comparing ammunition options.
