Overview
Hornady’s Superformance load in 7mm-08 Remington is built for hunters who want a streamlined factory option for the field. Loaded with a 139 grain SST bullet and packaged in 20-round boxes, it is intended for hunting applications where a dependable, ready-to-shoot cartridge matters. The Superformance line is described as delivering up to 200 FPS more velocity than most conventional ammunition, while maintaining the same felt recoil, muzzle blast, fouling, and accuracy characteristics stated by the manufacturer. For hunters looking to keep their rifle setup simple without giving up performance-focused ammunition, this load fits that role.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Limited to a 20-round box, so it may be better suited to sight-in, hunting trips, or smaller-volume use than high-round-count practice.
- The 139 grain SST load is a specific factory configuration, so it is not a flexible choice if you prefer a different bullet weight or projectile style.
- This is ammunition for 7mm-08 Remington rifles only, so compatibility depends on the firearm chambering.
- The product description emphasizes higher velocity, but performance still depends on the rifle and load selection, so it should be confirmed with your own setup before relying on it afield.
