iRay USA RICO MICRO PICTAIL Helmet/Weapon Shoe Features The iRay USA RICO MICRO PICTAIL Helmet/Weapon Shoe integrates a standard dovetail interface compatible with common helmet mounting systems from Wilcox KVC and similar manufacturers. This PICTAIL mounting system maintains full dovetail functionality for helmet use while adding enhanced accuracy and adaptability when mounted on a rifle. On the weapon side the PICTAIL features a single-slot MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny interface engineered to work in tandem with the American Defense Manufacturing MQD mount. In standalone optic mode the PICTAIL and MQD combination provides over 4.5 inches of rear offset while reversing the system for clip-on use reduces rear offset to just 1.5 inches. Clip-on mode requires only four Picatinny rail slots forward of a day optic making it well suited for compact platforms such as SBRs and pistols.
