JK Armament HD War Eagle Features The JK Armament HD War Eagle is machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with a black nitride finish delivering a 3 oz muzzle device at 1.90 inches length that simultaneously reduces recoil hides muzzle flash and provides a QA taper mount interface for compatible JK Armament suppressors. The black nitride finish provides a hard corrosion-resistant surface suited to sustained muzzle device use across a service life of heavy 9mm fire. The 1/2x28 thread pattern installs directly on compatible 9mm threaded host barrels without requiring additional adapters. The initial blast baffle function sets the HD War Eagle apart from conventional muzzle devices absorbing a portion of the initial blast pressure that would otherwise impact the first suppressor baffle and extending the service life of attached JK Quick Attach Taper Mount suppressors. This integrated blast baffle role means the HD War Eagle performs suppressor protection work in addition to its standalone recoil and flash reduction functions.
