A rectangular frame machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminum houses the firing mechanism with the trigger connecting via a transfer bar to a hammer driven by a free-floating extension spring. A lightweight firing pin transmits hammer energy to ignite the primer and a hammer block holds the hammer away from the firing pin after firing to provide a mechanical safety. The blued steel slide gives the pistol a clean durable finish while fixed sights keep the profile snag-free for concealed carry.
