Kel-Tec RFB Carbine Features The Kel-Tec RFB Carbine is a bullpup .308 rifle built around a short-stroke gas piston system that provides reliable operation while keeping the platform compact and balanced. Forward ejection allows it to function as a truly ambidextrous rifle and the controls are fully reversible with a reciprocating operating handle that can be swapped to either side. A dual-extractor system and tilting-block bolt mechanism support consistent feeding and extraction while maintaining a short overall length with an 18 barrel. This rifle is designed for durability and safety using two layers of 1.6 mm steel between the breech and the shooter and routing gas downward through the magazine well in the event of a case rupture. The chrome-lined bore and chamber promote long service life and the threaded 5/8x24 muzzle comes equipped with an A2-style birdcage flash hider. A rigid Mil-Spec Picatinny rail is attached to the barrel for optics mounting and the rifle accepts standard metric FN FAL magazines that drop free without requiring a rocking insertion with one 20-round magazine included.
