Kel-Tec SU-16CA Features The Kel-Tec SU-16CA is a 5.56 NATO utility rifle designed as a hybrid of the SU-16C and SU-16A bringing together compact storage and field-ready versatility. Its 16 barrel features a chrome-lined bore and chamber for durability and easier maintenance and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for compatibility with common muzzle devices. The barrel is parkerized and the rifle maintains a lightweight unloaded weight of 4.7 lbs. for easy carry over long distances. The forend folds down to form an integrated bipod providing quick stability for supported shooting without adding bulk. An integrated Picatinny rail allows easy mounting of optics and the front sight is built into the gas block with an AR-15 M16 style front sight post for elevation adjustment. The stock includes storage capability for two 10-round magazines or one 20 or 30-round magazine and the stock and trigger mechanism fold for compact transport with the rifle designed not to fire in the folded position.
