Considerations & Trade-offs
- The assisted opening and built-in flipper make deployment quick, but that also means the knife is geared more toward fast one-handed use than a purely manual opening experience.
- The gray PVD stainless steel handle is described as secure, though stainless construction can feel less warm or organic in hand than other handle materials some hunters prefer.
- The BlackWash finish is useful for helping hide scratches, but it also gives the knife a more utilitarian look rather than a bright, polished presentation.
- The reversible deep-carry pocketclip and custom lanyard hole add carry flexibility, but the overall setup is still oriented around everyday carry rather than a dedicated field or camp knife.
