Considerations & Trade-offs
- Uses Lee Hand Prime shell holders only, so it is not a universal priming tool and requires the matching shell holders for use.
- The included tray-fed priming setup is not suitable for all primer brands; the product notes that Federal brand large primers must be fed individually.
- The tool is designed for hand-held priming, which offers control and feel but is a manual, single-step workflow rather than a bench-mounted system.
- The molded storage box holds up to 18 shell holders, so users with larger shell-holder collections may need additional storage.
