Leofoto SA-X with MA-40X Features The SA-X tripod incorporates the X Version apex design featuring both a rosette connector and a 3/8 inch mounting stud for flexible head and accessory attachment. X Version angle stops allow one handed leg angle adjustment while offset leg joints fully support the angle stops and transfer loads directly through the strongest structural members. This design also keeps the tripod more compact when folded. Toray carbon fiber leg tubes paired with hard anodized CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminum hardware provide durability while keeping overall weight low. A threaded 1/4 inch accessory socket on the apex supports attachment of straps or accessories such as a phone mount or environmental tools. Large diameter rubber feet maintain positive ground contact at virtually any angle and prevent leg sidewalls from contacting the ground at low height settings. The MA-40X rapid lock ballhead includes a dual Arca and Picatinny clamp for broad compatibility.
