Leofoto SO-282CX Features The SO-282CX utilizes an inverted leg design that increases stability and reduces setup time compared to traditional tripod layouts. A new X version angle stop allows one handed leg angle adjustment while independent leg spread and three locking leg positions provide flexibility on uneven terrain. Redesigned geometry prevents leg tubes from crossing improving strength and deployment efficiency. Constructed with ten layers of Toray carbon fiber the tripod balances strength and lightweight portability. The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum apex platform includes a 3/8 inch mounting stud and a 1/4 inch accessory socket to support a wide range of mounted equipment. Rubber feet provide secure footing with included steel spiked feet available for added traction. The MA-40X lever-release rapid lock ball head features an Arca and Picatinny dual clamp supporting fast mounting and secure locking of compatible accessories.
