Overview
This two-piece base set is built for hunters setting up a bolt-action rifle with a clean, practical scope mount. It is compatible with Weatherby Mark V, Vanguard, and Howa 1500 long-action rifles, and the standard design is intended to preserve access to the magazine or breech while allowing flexible scope placement. The matte black finish keeps the look subdued, and mounting hardware is included for installation. Rings are not included, so this is a base-only solution for shooters who already have the rest of their optic setup.

Considerations & Trade-offs
- Requires separate rings; this is a base-only setup, so scope mounting is not complete out of the box.
- Standard 2-piece design offers more access to the magazine or breech, but it is not a one-piece mount.
- Compatibility is specific to Mark V, Vanguard, and Howa 1500 long action rifles, so fit should be verified before purchase.
- Matte black finish is understated and practical, but it is a finish choice rather than a feature that changes function.
