Overview

Libertys Civil Defense rounds are designed to achieve more stopping power kinetic energy and terminal effect wound cavitylethality than any other handgun round. A personal defense round the Civil Defense line is leadfree and uses a monolithic nickelplated copper fragmenting projectile with a deep cavity hollow point in a nickelplated brass cartridge case. Civil Defense travels at approximately twice the speed of traditional lead based ammunition and delivers 30 to 40 more kinetic energy transfer than other leading ammunition.
