Considerations & Trade-offs
- The 20-lb. max weight rating limits what can be stored on the shelf and inside the concealed compartment, so it is best suited to lighter firearms and valuables rather than heavier items.
- The Lockdown Puck monitoring device is compatible but not included, so added monitoring requires a separate purchase.
- The shelf’s low-profile 24" x 11.75" x 3.25" design helps with concealment, but it also means interior storage space is naturally limited.
- Installation is designed to be secure and includes step-by-step directions, but it still requires mounting to a suitable location.
