LWRC Six8-A5 Features The LWRC Six8-A5 is a short-stroke gas piston rifle providing the ultimate in reliability with the familiar ergonomics of the AR platform. This rifle was engineered specifically to optimize the 6.8mm SPC cartridge which was developed to offer superior ballistics and effective range over the traditional 5.56mm round. By enlarging the magazine well to accommodate proprietary Magpul polymer magazines LWRC has solved historical feeding issues to create a truly dependable firearm. Equipped with a 12 inch user-configurable SPR-style rail system the Six8-A5 allows for easy customization and access to the low-profile two-position gas block. The spiral fluted heavy barrel not only reduces weight and increases surface area for cooling but also adds a distinctive look to the rifle. With fully ambidextrous controls and a Monoforge upper receiver this rifle represents a significant evolution in modern sporting rifle design.
